An adult and a child sustained minor injuries in a vehicle rollover crash near Los Alamos early Sunday evening.
At 6:04 p.m., Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to Highway 101 northbound, just north of Alisos Canyon where crews discovered a single vehicle crash.
According to the County Fire Department, a white sedan left the highway and rolled into an adjacent culvert along a barbed wire fence.
An adult female driver and a 4-year-old child sustained minor injuries and were transported by a ground ambulance to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria.

The child was restrained by only a shoulder and lap seatbelt, no car seat, reports the County Fire Department.
California law requires all children under 2 years old to ride in a rear-facing car seat, unless the child is 40 or more pounds or is 40 or more inches tall. Once a child reaches these milestones, all children under the age of 8 years old are still required to be secured in a car seat or booster seat, in the back seat. Children 8 and older, or who are at least 4 feet 9 inches tall, may be secured by a booster seat, but at a minimum must be secured by a safety belt.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol. The roadway remained open.
