A nine-bed, 14-bath luxury estate in Montecito sold for $60 million on October 7, 2025. The house belonged to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his model wife Behati Prinsloo, according to Architectural Digest.

The turn-key house spans 13,362 square feet and is located at 700 Picacho Lane. The price per square foot was listed at $4,490.35, according to the realtor’s listing.

The buyer’s details were not disclosed.

Situated on Montecito’s “most coveted street,” the opulent property consists of a two-story main residence that offers panoramic ocean and mountain views, the listing added.

The property includes two guest houses, a gym and wellness area, a tennis court, a home theater, a primary suite, five guest rooms, and a catering kitchen. Outdoors, the house has a resort-style swimming pool, vegetable gardens for the home chef, two garages, a koi pond, and a chicken coop.

The house has been renovated and designed by Clements Design. The design firm is known for its celebrity clients, including Kendall Jenner, Bruno Mars, and Jennifer Lawrence.

The house was originally built in 2009 for actor Rob Lowe, Architectural Digest reported.

The property was listed on July 7, 2025, by Village Properties and Riskin Partners Estate Group.

The sale price is reportedly $5 million less than the initial listing price, according to a TMZ report. Levine and his wife purchased the expansive property for $52 million in 2022, the outlet reported.

While the couple is yet to comment on the sale, they have reportedly relocated to a Spanish-style ranch closer to their children’s school.

Montecito’s Luxury Real Estate Market

Situated along California’s scenic central coast, Montecito is known for its celebrity homes and luxurious estates. The coastal enclave in Santa Barbara County is home to several celebrities and high-net-worth individuals, including Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, and Prince Harry and Meghan.

The town offers a blend of coastal living, privacy, and luxury. Luxury homes in the area often include expansive estates, landscaping, and high-end amenities.

Earlier this month, a Spanish Revival estate in Montecito was listed for sale for $6,995,000. Listed by Rodeo Realty, the 7,146-square-foot residence sits on one flat acre and features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Built in 1990, the gated compound is surrounded by mature palms and landscaped gardens.

Montecito has recorded a steady demand for homes over the years, particularly after the pandemic. As of September 2025, the town had 79 active listings and a median sales price of $6,515,000, according to the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors
