8 Blocks of Micheltorena Street to Receive New Pavement

Toro Enterprises, Inc. will be performing full – width paving of Micheltorena Street from the freeway to Garden Street as part of the FY21B Pavement Maintenance (Overlay) Project.

Paving operations will take place from August 15 to August 19, 2022 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pavement striping of the newly paved street will follow approximately four weeks after the paving is complete.

The schedule of work is approximate and is subject to change as weather, material supply and other factors may influence the exact timing of construction.

Detours in the surrounding areas will be in effect to minimize construction duration and ensure the least disruption to normal traffic flow. Traffic control, parking restrictions and temporary delays should be expected in these areas. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although temporary disruptions should be anticipated, especially while paving is taking place.

No Parking signs will be posted at least 72 hours prior to construction and detour signs will also be provided.

The City has contracted with Toro Enterprises, Inc. to perform work, which is funded primarily by Measure C.
