63 New COVID-19 Cases

Santa Barbara Public Health Department reports 63 new COVID-19 cases to the county on Tuesday.

The total confirmed case count is now 2,509 with 990 cases belonging to the outbreak in the Federal Prison in Lompoc. Overall, 2,010 total individuals fully recovered and 27 have died.

Of the active 246 cases, 9 are located within the Lompoc prison, 176 are quarantined at home, 61 are recovering in the hospital with 19 in the intensive care unit, and 226 are pending information.

  1. Big uptick in the younger groups after restrictions relaxed, and now a big one in the senior group. Not seeing a lot of those out & about and am wondering how many are due to younger family members or people they had to deal with to get their food and medicines.
