The beloved Santa Barbara Senior Expo is back for its 34th year on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Earl Warren Showgrounds. This cherished community tradition promises an exciting morning filled with essential resources, health screenings, live entertainment, and connections that matter.
What began as a modest gathering in the 1990s has blossomed into the region’s premier one-stop resource fair, now featuring 115+ exhibitors showcasing the wealth of services available to Santa Barbara County’s seniors and caregivers. From financial services and residential facilities to home care providers and local nonprofits, attendees will discover a comprehensive overview of community support, all under one roof.
“This is an educational opportunity for seniors and caregivers filled with tons of resources that can be found in one morning, all at the same place, with a lot of excitement along the way,” says Jeanne M. West, Senior Expo Co-Chair and 30-year committee veteran.
Beyond the exhibits, attendees can take advantage of free health screenings including blood pressure, glaucoma, eye tests, and diabetes testing, plus flu shots and COVID vaccinations provided by CVS Pharmacy. The newly revised Caregiver Café offers a welcoming space for caregivers to find support, resources, and connections.
But it’s not all business. The Expo knows how to celebrate! Enjoy live performances by the Dixie Daddies and Mamas, Goleta Swing Band, and Ukulele Lulus, plus free haircuts, virtual travel experiences, exercise demonstrations, and more.
Lyn Shirvanian, Family Service Agency representative and Co-Chair, emphasizes the event’s community spirit: “Thanks to our generous sponsors, we can offer this incredible day for just $5 admission with free parking. It truly takes a village to make this happen.”
The event is made possible by 29 major sponsors, including Platinum sponsors Family Service Agency, VNA Health, Mission Park, and Cox Communications, along with dedicated volunteers from organizations throughout Santa Barbara County.
