221 New COVID-19 Cases in Santa Barbara County

The Public Health Department reports 221 new COVID-19 cases within Santa Barbara County on Wednesday.

There is one death to report today.  The individual was over 70 years old with underlying medical conditions and resided in the Unincorporated areas of the Goleta Valley. The death was associated with an outbreak at a congregate facility.

There have now been 151 deaths.

Of the 15,417 total cases, there are 1,287 infectious cases. Of those there are 113 hospitalizations including 22 in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Santa Barbara County's ICU availability is 34.7%.

"The reality is the vast majority of Covid deaths are people with underlining health conditions who had to be extremely careful to not get any sort of sickness. " Um, no. "Underlying health conditions" is a dumb term for all sorts of things, like asthma, lupus, celiac, fibromyalgia, diabetes...that people live decades with. And they live just fine too. Underlying health conditions are manageable. One person I know who died of COVID died because he WASN'T extremely careful and never had to be before. So why would he have to be now?

If you think the death certificates are accurate, which they probably aren't, then 6 percent of the certs list only covid as the cause of death. That's still like 20,000 people, so nothing to sneeze at.

Do you think 325,000 deaths in the USA alone are faked?
International death totals are faked?
Other countries are in on the conspiracy?
