2022 March Edness Winners Announced!

By the edhat staff

This game was neck and neck until the very ned, but the final winners of the 2022 March Edness game are being revealed.

Our annual photo hunting game is fun and highly competitive and questions how well you know your local area. Or how well you notice and remember details about your surroundings. Or… how good you are at Google Map street views and internet sleuthing. Either way, after 20 days and numerous hours of searching, our dedicated edhat players are now being honored.

At the end of the 20 days we were left with a 5-way tiebreaker between Penelope805, holazola, Camster, Britt, and HDB. All players were sent four tie-breaking locations and one trivia question. And… they all got every single question correct. So then it came down to time. Whoever submitted their answers first.

Our first-place prize goes to HDB who submitted their answers at 9:03 a.m., an hour and three minutes after the tie-breaker began.

Second place goes to Britt who was just 34 minutes behind and Penelope805 receives third place for being five minutes behind Britt.

Congratulations to holazola (who was just 5 minutes behind Penelope805!) and Camster who got everything correct but it simply came down to minutes.

PRIZES & MARCH EDNESS PARTY

Our top three winners will be able to choose a local restaurant, winery, or brewery of their choice to receive a gift card courtesy of edhat.

Normally we hold a public gathering in the middle of April to celebrate the winners and to mingle with other edhat readers, but we will be postponing until next year when it will be edhat’s 20th anniversary! Then we can hold a bigger, better, and safer gathering for all.
