Ice In Paradise, Santa Barbara County's premier ice rink and home to club and college hockey leagues and figure skating, is accepting registration for IIP's Learn to Skate Program, offering several opportunities to introduce hockey as a fun and exciting club sport to the public while making it accessible to everyone in the community. The Learn to Skate program follows the lesson format created by the Ice Skating Institute of America (ISI), the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization.

Ice in Paradise offers figure skating and hockey classes for beginner to advanced levels, for tot skaters (ages three to five), youth skaters (ages six to 13) and teen and adult skaters of all ages. Year-round sessions cost $175, and include one hour of ice time per week for 8 weeks (30 minutes of instruction plus 30 minutes of practice on ice) and skate rental.
