YouTube for Business

YouTube for Business teaches students how to use YouTube to broadcast user and business-generated videos. Topics include creating a custom channel and building a following by uploading and sharing videos that communicate a brand and engage an audience. Students learn to view, upload, and share videos; create playlists and optimize videos for search engines; and add annotations, notes and links. Uploading and editing film for YouTube is also covered.
You may elect to take this course independent of a Career Skills Institute digital badge or apply it to the Social Media for Business Certificate. Participants who earn this certificate are taken through the planning process of using social media as part of a business marketing strategy. They will analyze the ways in which business and nonprofits use social media marketing to engage customers in dramatically different ways from the past. Students will create a successful business presence on social media using the Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest business environments and learn how to use these tools to capture all of the benefits
To obtain the Social Media for Business Certificate, participants must complete a total of three required courses and one elective course :
(1) Facebook for Business
(2) LinkedIn for Business
(3) Twitter for Business
(1) Instagram and Pinterest for Business
(2) YouTube for Business
