Veterans Stand Down Event

The Santa Barbara Elks Lodge #613, Groovin’ in the Grove Classic Car & Vintage Trailer Show recently purchased over $5,500.00 of needed clothing and hygiene products to be distributed to the October 16 th , 2021 VETERANS STAND DOWN event. Steve Cousins, Chair of the Car Show reports that Elks Lodge #613 has been supporting this worthwhile event for many years. 2021 marks the 9 th annual event which will be held at the Santa Maria FAIRPARK from 9:00AM to 1:00PM and will be serving Men, Women & Children, legal spouses & dependents under the age of 18.

Limited to 500 Veterans. Services provided to homeless Veterans include: Food, Shelter, Clothing, Health Screenings, Counseling, VA and Social Security Benefits, Resources and more.
