UMIJOO: Book Reading & Signing With Author Casson Trenor

Casson Trenor has dedicated his career to improving the relationship between human beings and our oceans. Trenor is the author of two books on ocean conservation, including 2019’s Umijoo, a children’s book about food, our oceans, and the importance of making responsible choices. He is a frequent commentator on ocean issues and has been featured in many international media outlets, including CNN, TIME, Forbes, Asahi Shimbun, and the New York Times.

Umijoo, a newly released children’s book, written by Casson Trenor and beautifully illustrated by Caia Koopman, is about ocean conservation. A 72- page fully hand-painted story, Umijoo is about a curious girl who, with the help of a little magic, journeys deep underwater and learns about love, responsibility, and balance from her undersea adventures. It targets ages 8-11, but the art and themes are designed to enchant readers of all ages.
