Treks + Discover Outside: Explore Burton Mesa Ecological Reserve
Join us for a special Land Trust Trek at Burton Mesa Ecological Reserve as part of our Discover Outside series!
Join a plant expert as we explore the wildflowers and native plants of this specially protected habitat in Lompoc! This Trek includes a 4-mile stroll across mostly even trails that are most exposed. The terrain is sandy throughout most of the preserve. Bathrooms and water are not available at this location. Free registration is required. Click the link below to reserve a spot.
Curious about Discover Outside?
From June 1 to June 11, you're invited to get outside—from Lompoc to Los Olivos, Orcutt to Carpinteria—and celebrate the breathtaking landscapes and inspiring people that make Santa Barbara special.
Join us and partners throughout the county to explore local parks and open spaces with guided treks for all skill levels, arts and crafts days for kids, and Family Day at Arroyo Hondo Preserve. Come along for a beach clean-up or celebrate the end of school with ice cream and local beer!
Don't miss this amazing opportunity to connect with nature and your community. For details, reservations, and up-to-the-minute updates, head to the Land Trust website.
