Transform Yourself: Writing to Heal

June 8, 2019 @ 2:00 am - 3:30 am PDT

Join us for an afternoon to help you access your authentic voice and attain clarity and peace of mind through writing. Diana will gently guide you as you navigate your past and present experiences and express them through exercises. Whether you’ve kept a journal in the past or wish to start keeping one now, Diana will show you how maintaining a daily writing practice can lead to profound inner transformation and healing.

By tapping into the messages of your heart, you’ll learn how to nurture the creative spirit that resides within you. You may leave the workshop with nuggets of a writing idea or the beginnings of an entire project. Whatever the case, you will be amazed and inspired by the revelations that emerge.

Diana Raab, MFA, PhD, is a Santa Barbara author and poet who facilitates national workshops in writing for healing and transformation. She is the author of ten books and more than a thousand articles and poems. She has a master’s in creative writing and a PhD in psychology research. Diana has taught at 1440 Metroversity, Sacred Space, The Open Center, Hugo House, the Santa Barbara Writers Conference, and many other venues. Her latest books are Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life, and Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal, both available at Yoga Soup.
