The John Muir Trail has become one of the most widely and well-known trails in the Sierra Nevada and for good reason. The epic, scenic beauty along the 220-mile stretch is unparalleled. This presentation with focus on how to prepare for a thru hike like the John Muir Trail. Whether you've hiked the JMT or you're thinking about it, this presentation will help you know more about what it takes and what to expect.

Curt Cragg is an avid hiker and backpacker. He hiked the John Muir Trail in 2011 to celebrate his 50th birthday.
