Thrill the World 2018
On Saturday, October 27th at 3:00pm, hundreds of World Dance Zombies will rise from the lawn of Santa Barbara’s spectacular COURTHOUSE SUNKEN GARDENS to perform Michael Jackson’s iconic dance as part of a global event, Thrill the World. This will be the 8th year World Dance for Humanity is hosting the experience, which will include Flashmobs all over town during the two weeks leading up to Halloween.
Sunday the 28th will be a great day too, with Flashmobs in SANTA YNEZ VALLEY at select WINERIES,culminating in a Michael Jackson tribute in front of NEVERLAND and a performance to live music at COLD SPRING TAVERN. Classes will be held at the Stuart C. Gildred Family YMCA in Santa Ynez.
This year we’re adding OJAI to our Thriller line-up! Classes will be taught by Polly Carey at the beautiful Hamsa Studio in Meiner’s Oaks. Ojai Thriller will take place on Oct. 20th, which coincides the town’s annual celebration, OJAI DAY. We’ll be bringing a few van-fulls of SB Zombies to join in the fun!
