Santa Barbara, CA – The Abstract Art Collective (AAC) proudly presents Thresholds, a new group exhibition featuring the visionary work of AAC members at Voice Gallery, located at La Cumbre Plaza. Running from November 1st through November 30th, this captivating exhibition explores the theme of Thresholds – boundaries both real and imagined, the points of transition where the familiar ends and something new begins.

The exhibition invites the viewer to contemplate the moment of crossing, whether it is into new spaces, ideas, or experiences. Through a diverse array of contemporary abstract works, Thresholds showcases the dynamic talents of AAC members as they interpret this profound concept in unique and thought-provoking ways.

JUROR: Jan Ziegler
The exhibition will be juried by renowned Santa Barbara curator and artist Jan Ziegler, founding owner and director of 10 West Gallery. Ziegler’s gallery has been a prominent space for contemporary local artists since 2016, and she brings a wealth of experience as both an artist and curator. With a background in graphic design and magazine publishing, Jan has also played an integral role in shaping the local art scene, curating exhibitions at MichaelKate Interiors and contributing to the growth of the AAC as its Director from 2014 to 2016.

• Thresholds features work exclusively from AAC members, offering a glimpse into the ever-evolving landscape of abstract art.
• Opening Reception: November 7th, 5:00 – 8:00 PM, during Santa Barbara’s First Thursday Art Walk.
• Third Friday Reception: November 15th, 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
• Explore thought-provoking works that challenge perceptions of boundaries and transitions.
• Meet the artists and juror Jan Ziegler at both receptions.
