Monique is a one-of-a-kind writer, comedian, as well as versatile radio and TV personality. Her television career has exploded with three specials on Showtime: The Latin Divas of Comedy, Snoop Dogg Presents the Bad Girls of Comedy, and her own one-hour special Not Skinny, Not Blonde, based on her critically-acclaimed book of the same name. She has also made numerous appearances on HBO, Comedy Central, ABC, PBS, has hosted Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve from South Beach and was hand-picked by best-selling author John Gray to write the touring stage show version of his iconic Men Are From Mars; Women Are From Venus.

Monique’s current show is centered around relationships and with uniquely hilarious insights into family and friendships. With her sharp wit and improv skills, Monique has the stellar ability to tailor a performance on the spot and appeal to all audiences.

Three pricing tiers are available:
$100 – Upper East tier: V.I.P. experience. Premium view. Upgraded table service. Ticket includes a glass of wine*, choice of appetizer* and entrée*.
$75 – Downtown tier: Table service. Ticket includes a glass of wine* and a choice of entrée*.
$50 – Funk Zone tier: General Admission ticket includes a glass of wine* or beer.

Please note that guests will be seated according to the pricing tier selected. In order to keep your party together, please select the same pricing tier for your entire party and indicate so when purchasing the tickets.
Be advised seating will be limited as follows:
– Upper East tier: 22 seats only
– Downtown tier: 18 seats only
– Funk Zone tier: 12 seats only

As per COVID guidelines, this event will be held outdoors with proper spacing between tables and chairs. As a reminder, per the California Department of Public Health and Santa Barbara County, all individuals are required to wear a face mask when in line to the restaurant, on the way to the table, to and from the restroom and when exiting the restaurant.

Oppi’z is a renowned Downtown State Street Italian restaurant located in the Historic Theatre District set within the curated garden block of the State Street Promenade. Dining at Oppi’z will rekindle fond memories of your favorite Italian vacation as almost everything is imported directly from Italy, such as the entire 47 bottle wine list, many of the ingredients and even the silverware. The owner, Guido Oppizzi, who hails from a town near Milan, brought his family’s recipes for fresh authentic Italian fare from his homeland to Downtown Santa Barbara for you to enjoy.
