The 38th Annual Santa Barbara Rescheduled to April 21

[UPDATE]: Due to rain in the forecast, The Santa Barbara Kite Festival, originally scheduled for this Sunday April 14th, has been moved to 11am-4pm Sunday April 21st on the west campus at Santa Barbara City College.

The 38th Santa Barbara Kite Festival will fly again 11am-4pm, Sunday April 14th 2024 in the “Great Meadow” on the west campus of Santa Barbara City College. The “Great Meadow” is a beautiful lawn area adjacent to Garvin Theatre, on SBCC’s west campus, 721 Cliff Dr, Santa Barbara, CA 93109.

The meadow overlooks Santa Barbara’s Harbor and breakwater and is graced by ocean breezes and light winds -perfect for kite flying all day long. This family friendly festival welcomes kite fliers of all ages and abilities – from first time sky sailors to experienced frequent fliers. Come and fly, or just watch the fun in the sun with everyone. Admission is free. There is plenty of parking both on campus and nearby.
