STEAM Makerspace Virtual Summer Camp

This camp will be focused on different maker activities culminating with a final day playing and sharing on Roblox (or computer coding if campers/parents do not have or want a Roblox account). The children will be creating and sharing all of these projects remotely with one another. They will be making and tinkering with multiple iterations based on what they learn from their peers as well as their own prototypes.

Schedule:
MONDAY: Tower and bridge challenge
TUESDAY: Parachute and Egg Drop
WEDNESDAY: Rube Goldberg machine from table/desk to floor using remaining materials from Mon and Tues.
THURSDAY: Scratch computer coding story creation
FRIDAY: Roblox playing and sharing or continued computer coding

Materials:
MONDAY: spaghetti noodles, large marshmallows, cardboard boxes, duct tape
TUESDAY: Coffee filters/paper, string, scissors, paper clip,
plastic/paper straws, rubber bands, egg
WEDNESDAY: marble, golf or ping pong ball, leftover supplies from Mon/Tues
THURSDAY/FRIDAY: Laptop or desktop computer with internet capability
