South Coast Standup Comedy Show at The Alcazar

June 28, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm PDT
$15

Join us for big laughs at Alcazar’s popular monthly comedy night on Saturday, June 28. Every month we bring you a new lineup of professional comedians working clean in our favorite theater.

This month we have headliners Claude Stuart with his zany physical humor, Tommy Savitt with his one-of-a-kind way of being in the world, and the lovable Cash Levy with his razor sharp wit.

If you haven’t been to our comedy nights, you’re in for a treat. It’s the best on the coast. If you have joined us in the past, you’ve experienced the hilarity first hand and we can’t wait to welcome you back.

Meet the Comedians

From packing comedy venues across the globe to regular television appearances on shows like “The Tonight Show” and “Last Comic Standing”, veteran comedian Claude Stuart has come a long way from his down home southern roots. By his own admission, he was “paddled on more than one occasion for being the class clown.” Claude’s explosive, in-your-face, rapid-fire, madman stage style is truly an exhilarating assault on the senses and has evoked comparisons to golden era physical comedians such as Steve Martin, Robin Williams and Jim Carrey. Claude’s unique brand of Don Rickles-esque crowd interaction, coupled with clever and well-written jokes, makes him not only the world’s first physical insult comedian…but a “comedy triple threat”!

If laughter were the law, Tommy Savitt would throw the book at you. Well, maybe not. But he will make you laugh out loud.

Quitting law school to become a comedian may not be considered the best career choice, but for Tommy, it was the right one. Born in New Jersey and raised in Brooklyn, Tommy has survived the school of hard knocks to craft comedic routines that leaves audiences cringes and grins – and a lot of laughing.

His law background helps him take logic and break it down in order to make people laugh at just about anything. Tommy is a multi-award winning comedian whose slow and simple delivery on stage makes him a crowd favorite while he mixes education and sarcasm with comedic wit.

A working comedian for over 20 years, he has been seen on WGN’s The Bob & Tom Show, SI TV’s Funny is Funny, Comcast’s Boston Comedy Festival, National Lampoon, Man Up Stand Up on MAVTV, and on JLTV’s James and Sunda. As an actor he has many commercial and stage credits, including appearances in commercials for Adidas, Monster.com, and Lowe’s, and starred as Horatio in Love’s Labours Lost at the Expanded Arts Theatre in New York City. His CD “Who Wants Me Now!” is one of the top requested comedic segments on satellite radio.

Cash Levy has appeared numerous times on Comedy Central, Fox, NBC, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS), Comics Unleashed, Comedy.TV and is a regular at the Hollywood Improv. He can be heard daily on Sirius XM Radio, and has been a regular on The Bob and Tom Show for years. With over twenty years of stand-up comedy experience and national exposure, Cash has entertained to sold out comedy clubs throughout the country. Internationally, Cash has performed for U.S. troops all over the world – from Afghanistan to Singapore.

Embarrassment of Pandas is a fast, fearless improv team delivering short-form comedy chaos at lightning speed. In just 12 minutes, they pack in big characters, ridiculous reactions, and wild audience-fueled games that leave no panda unflustered. Come laugh loud, shout suggestions, and witness the art of making it all up under pressure. Think Whose Line? meets caffeine overdose—if you blink, you might miss a panda moment.
