Scouting America Los Padres Council Announces 2025 Salute to Scouting Honorees

Scouting America Los Padres Council is proud to announce the honorees for the  2025 Salute to Scouting celebration, to be held at the historic Santa Barbara Club (1105 Chapala St, Santa  Barbara, CA 93101). This annual event recognizes exceptional leaders and community partners whose service and  philanthropy exemplify the values of Scouting. 

This year, we are honored to present: 

• Randy Fox, recipient of the National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award 
• The Ann Jackson Family Foundation, recipient of the Los Padres Council Legacy Award 

Randall B. Fox is a Santa Barbara-based attorney and founding partner of Reetz, Fox & Bartlett LLP, with over 30  years of experience in business law, real estate, estate planning, and litigation. An Eagle Scout from Troop 261 in the  Lake Erie Council, Randy has combined professional excellence with deep community service. His leadership extends  across UCSB, Laguna Blanca School, the Rehabilitation Institute, local chambers of commerce, and numerous cultural  institutions. He resides in Santa Barbara with his wife, Terry A. Bartlett, and together they cherish their family,  including a son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren in Australia. 

The Ann Jackson Family Foundation, established in 1978 through the generosity of Ann Gavit Jackson (Mrs.  Charles H. Jackson Jr.), reflects the Jacksons’ lifelong love for Santa Barbara. The family’s legacy of philanthropy has  supported health and human services, the arts, civic and community infrastructure, and education. The Foundation has  also been a strong supporter of Scouting America Los Padres Council and The Outdoor School at Rancho Alegre,  ensuring that youth in Santa Barbara County have access to outdoor education and leadership development. 

The Salute to Scouting event is our way of honoring leaders and organizations who embody the spirit of service,  stewardship, and community. Randy Fox and the Ann Jackson Family Foundation represent the best of Santa Barbara’s  commitment to building a stronger future for youth and families.
