Santa Barbara Wildlife Open House
It's spring and baby wild animals are being born all over Santa Barbara. What do you do when one of these babies, or any other wild animal needs help? You call the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, a local nonprofit that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases thousands of wild animals in need every year. From pelicans to raccoons to hummingbirds to squirrels, SBWCN is here to care for the birds, terrestrial mammals, and reptiles in need.
The Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network will be having a free Open House on Saturday, March 9th from 10AM-1PM where visitors can up close with baby animals and a behind the scenes look into wildlife rehabilitation. The event is located at the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network center on 1460 N. Fairview Avenue. More information is available online at www.sbwcn.org/openhouse. See you there!
