Santa Barbara Culinary Experience

May 12, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 pm PDT
The Santa Barbara Culinary Experience (the SBCE) proudly presents its annual showcase of all things food and drink in Santa Barbara County, May 12-18, 2025. This highly anticipated week-long celebration, presented in collaboration with The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, brings together Santa Barbara County’s vibrant food and beverage scene, spotlighting the region’s world-class chefs, winemakers, farmers, artisans, and hospitality community. Tickets go on sale March 15. Sign up for the newsletter at sbce.events and be the first to receive exclusive updates and event news.
The 2025 SBCE features a diverse and significantly expanded lineup of immersive experiences, including curated dining events, exclusive wine tastings, farm tours, cooking classes, hands-on workshops, and more—held at restaurants, wineries, farms, and unique venues across the county. Highlights include the signature Grand Wine Tasting on May 17 at El Presidio de Santa Barbara. As one of Santa Barbara’s premier food and wine events, the SBCE showcases the region’s rich culinary heritage and innovation, all while supporting local businesses and sustainability initiatives.
Through its collaboration with The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, the SBCE also gives back—allocating a portion of proceeds to local organizations dedicated to strengthening Santa Barbara County’s food system.
