Santa Barbara Blues Society’s 47th Annual Birthday Show with the Chris Cain Band!

March 23 @ 7:00 pm PDT

$10 – $45

After nearly 10 years, the Santa Barbara Blues Society welcomes back Chris Cain and his band to celebrate their 47th Annual Birthday Show. Opening the show is Los Angeles based duo Celso Salim & Darryl Carriere. Main Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show begins at 7:15 pm. Birthday Cake will be served at intermission!

Chris Cain offers up a soulful stew of Memphis style electric blues. His deep vocals and jazz-inspired, blues guitar riffs are unforgettable; uniquely his own, while reminiscent of the legendary BB King and Albert King. With more than three decades of touring and fourteen albums, master blues guitarist and vocalist Chris Cain has earned his reputation as a musician’s musician and has garnered multiple Blues Music Award nominations.

Show openers Celso Salim & Darryl Carriere captivate audiences with inspired performances featuring a soulful blend of guitar and harmonica sounds. Brazilian born Salim is one of the most respected guitarists in California, has won five independent music awards, and took 3rd place in the band category at the 2019 International Blues Challenge (IBC), while Carriere won the IBC’s Lee Oskar Harmonica Award that same year.

Tickets available for presale at SBBlues.org or for purchase at the door. General admission tickets are $35, VIP tickets are $45, and students with ID are $10. For further information, visit SBBlues.org. For questions, send an email to info@sbblues.org.
