Santa Barbara Blues Society Presents Terrie Odabi

The Santa Barbara Blues Society welcomes multiple Blues Music Award Nominee Terrie Odabi in her first ever Santa Barbara appearance on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in the Historic Carrillo Ballroom at the Carrillo Recreation Center, 100 East Carrillo Street in downtown Santa Barbara. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m., with Odabi and her band taking the stage at 8:00 p.m.

Hailing from Oakland, CA, Odabi will be fronting a seven-piece band with a terrific horn section. The scintillating and soulful singer has been described as “easily the most dynamic blues and soul woman to have emerged in the Bay Area since Etta James” (Lee Hildebrand, contributor to the San Francisco Chronicle, East Bay Express, and Living Blues Magazine). Her powerful and moving vocals, and her on-stage charisma have gained her a large and loyal fan base. Odabi is one of the most respected talents in the Blues genre, and is a living testament to West Coast Blues Royalty.
