Rev. Karen’s Mid-Month Devotional Retreat at Meditation Mount

Rev. Karen Wylie will offer her monthly half-day retreat at Meditation Mount on Saturday, October 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The topic will be “Discovering the ‘Authentic Self’ within.”
“We have the power within us to create the lives of our dreams,” Rev. Karen says, “but all the preparation takes place within the silence of our own soul.” Take a morning to touch down into that inner space of stillness, power, and peace while experiencing the tranquil grounds of Meditation Mount.
The morning will include quiet contemplation, wisdom talks, sacred music, and peaceful walks on the beautiful grounds. Randee Vasilakos, registered Science of Mind Practitioner, will be available to assist with prayers for personal healing. People of all faiths and traditions, or no tradition, are welcome to attend.
“The Authentic Self is our link to the eternal; to the Love that is our true nature; to the knowing that never dies. Spending time in communion with the Self is one of the greatest gifts we can experience,” Rev. Karen says.

Rev. Karen S. Wylie is an Agape-licensed minister and spiritual counselor who graduated in 2008 from the University of Transformational Studies and Leadership under the direction of Rev. Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith. She also has a master’s degree in spiritual psychology from the University of Santa Monica, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA. From June 2009 to October 2013 she served as spiritual director of the Symphony of Life Spiritual Center in Ojai, California. She is an agent for transformation, helping others to express their innate spiritual nature in all areas of their lives. She has recently published an inspirational book, Into Me See, a collection of essays, affirmations, and spiritual insights collected over her 20-plus-year spiritual journey.
