Quire of Voyces Mysteries of Christmas Dec. 16 & 17, 2023

December 17, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm PST
$15 – $20

Join us for the Quire of Voyces 30th Mysteries of Christmas Concert on December 16th and 17th at 3pm, at the St. Anthony’s Chapel at the Garden Street Academy and directed by the talented Nathan Kreitzer. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of sacred a cappella music as we convey a message of peace, love, and joy to our cherished Santa Barbara community.

Under the guidance of Nathan Kreitzer, our program showcases new renditions of traditional songs and innovative arrangements of Nativity verses. The concert features compositions by a distinguished lineup of musical maestros, including Matthew Culloton, Cecilia McDowell, Becky McLeod, Susan Labarr, and our very own composer in residence, Stephen Dombek.
These brilliant composers, many of whom are contemporary women, have played a pivotal role in the recent choral composition renaissance. We are thrilled to present their shimmering, sonorous, and transporting works that encapsulate the spirit of the season.
Mark your calendars for this extraordinary musical experience, where the Choir of Voices invites you to revel in the magic of Christmas. Two performances, on December 16th and 17th at 3pm, promise to captivate and uplift, making this concert a must-attend event for all music enthusiasts. Let the harmonies of our choir fill the air, spreading the joy of the holidays throughout Santa Barbara. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this festive celebration of the 30th Mysteries of Christmas Concert. Join us and be transported by the beauty of a cappella music, brought to life by the Quire of Voyces and the vision of Artistic Director Nathan Kreitzer.
