Our Medicine Grows Plant Walk & Medicine Making Journey

Join herbalist Lindsay Kolasa for a day in the field at our Plant Walk and Medicine Making Workshop. We will sniff, sample, and sip our way through the plant world. Learn about the basics of how plants effect the body through taste and get ready to chew on some botanical terms and deep soul stories. By the end of the workshop, we’ll be making medicine to take home!

Guest Instructor Lindsay Kolasa is a Community Herbalist, Traditional Food Ways Educator, and Soul-worker with a background in print journalism, non-profit management, and social service work. Lindsay ran an Apothecary in Mississippi for five years and has taught herbal medicine classes at large conferences and for small groups, such as feisty garden clubs.
