Model A Fords Roll into Santa Barbara — A Living Parade of Automotive History

Wednesday, October 1, 2025

• 9:30 a.m. — Santa Barbara Model A Club members gather at the 76 Station/Timbers Restaurant (10 Winchester Canyon Rd., Goleta) to get ready to welcome visitors.

• 10:00 a.m. — 25–30 Model A Fords from clubs across Central California (Santa Maria, Paso Robles, Visalia, and more) arrive from Solvang, led by Dave Krill, Advertising Director of the Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA) and past president of the Paso Robles A’s.

• After arrival at 76/Timbers — Santa Barbara Model A Ford Club president Randy Douglas takes over as leader, organizing cars for the local route.

• 10:15 a.m. — Group photo at the historic Barnsdall-Rio Grande Gas Station (Hollister Ave., next to Sandpiper Golf Club).

• Late morning — After a drive through UCSB, Hollister Avenue, Modoc Road and Hope Ranch the caravan arrives at the Carriage Museum, 129 Castillo St., Santa Barbara.

• Destination: Carriage Museum, 129 Castillo St., Santa Barbara

Who:

25–30 vintage 1928–1931 Ford Model A’s from clubs across Central California, led by Dave Krill (Advertising Director, Model A Ford Club of America, Paso Robles A’s past president), with local hosting and guidance from Randy Douglas, president of the Santa Barbara Model A Ford Club.

This rolling showcase of American automotive history offers rare opportunities for photography, video, and interviews with enthusiasts dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Model A Ford.
