Local Seminars Equip Families to Support Aging Parents and Navigate Complex Real Estate Decisions

Supporting an aging parent can be one of the most emotional and overwhelming chapters in a family’s life — especially when important real estate and financial decisions are involved. To help families navigate this journey with clarity and confidence, Tierney & Co. is hosting two powerful educational seminars on September 18 at Maravilla, and September 24 at Harry’s Cafe in Santa Barbara.

Lunch is provided — all attendees need to do is show up.

Led by local Senior Transition Specialist and Certified Real Estate Planner℠ Melissa Tierney, these seminars bring together her renowned Power Team of 4 — a trusted attorney, financial planner, lender, and real estate planner — to educate families on:

  • The 21 Responsibilities of Trustees and how to plan ahead before a crisis strikes
  • Options for tired landlords seeking to step away from property management while maintaining steady income
  • How to leverage real estate to build a legacy and avoid costly mistakes that could impact the whole family

“These decisions can feel overwhelming, but no family should have to navigate them alone,” says Tierney. “Retirement may be a personal decision, but it’s truly a family affair. We built this seminar series to give families the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to protect their loved ones and their legacy.”
