SAX
Artist, band leader, composer, & award winning multi instrumentalist, Lito Hernandez will be leading in a night of Millennial Jazz. “After having performed with Peter Erskin, Ernie Isly, Clark Terry, Ralph Petterson, Victor Mendoza, and Phil Wilson; I found that my influences from the music of the now and the music of the past have lead me to composing music that reflects me and my generation. A generation of Millennial Jazz.”Â

DRUMS
We have the great luxury of having Daryell Perkins drummer extraordinaire joining us. Daryell is a talent that supports music at its finest. A true connoisseur of tasty music, Daryell is guaranteed to cook something special up for these up and coming shows.

BASS
Tri county native Santiino Taferella will be representing the 805 on bass. For the past three years Santino has been working under the direction of Bob Mintzer! Additionally he has worked along side Bruce Forman, Phil Ranelin, & Ike Jenkins in his love and pursuit of creating Jazz.

PIANO
One of the biggest kept secrets in the 805, pianist Miles Napier will be making his second appearance performing Millennial Jazz with the the Lito Hernandez Band at Squashed Grapes. Keep your eye on Miles Napier as he is soon to take off on the Jazz scene.

For the month of April  we will be hosting two shows featuring guest trumpeter Matt Von Roderick. Although most know him for his world famous  pop trumpet playing, MVR is a beast of a Jazz Trumpeter.Â
