This year’s Gala theme is “Dazzling through the Decades.” The elegant evening will include dinner, dancing, a silent auction, and a wine pull. Guests are encouraged to embrace a black tie dress code reflecting their favorite decade.

The event will take place from 6 PM to 11 PM, with VIP entry starting at 5 PM. Tickets are available for $350 (VIP) and $300 (General Admission). For table purchases, please contact Gala@jlsantabarbara.org for a reduced price of $250 per ticket. The deadline to purchase tickets is midnight on Friday, October 8th.

All proceeds from the Gala will directly support JLSB’s programs aimed at empowering women and preventing the exploitation of at-risk youth in the Santa Barbara community. In addition, to honor 100 years of service, JLSB is committed to distributing $100,000 in Community Assistance Fund (CAF) grants to support Santa Barbara nonprofits whose projects or programs align with the League’s philanthropic focus area. Those wishing to contribute to this milestone can become Centennial Sponsors, with levels ranging from $500 to $25,000. For sponsorship inquiries, please reach out to president@jlsantabarbara.org or visit JLSantaBarbara.org/centennial.

At the Gala, JLSB will recognize Joan Lindsey as the first ever recipient of JLSB’s Legacy Award, a special award created specifically for the 100th year. A longtime supporter of the Junior League and its mission, Joan has made a profound impact through her dedication and generosity. Joan’s commitment includes establishing the Lindsey Endowment to support S.A.F.E. House™ (Saving At-risk youth From Exploitation House), a 6-bed residential shelter for girls who are survivors of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking,  in addition to earmarking funds to continue the good work of the JLSB with the goal of opening additional shelters to serve this most worthy population. “Joan has given generously and without hesitation, believing in the power of empowering strong, committed women volunteers in Santa Barbara,” said Jenni-Elise Ramirez, President of JLSB. “Time and again, she has stepped up to meet the League’s needs, often without being asked. Her selflessness has benefited JLSB, its members, and the entire community, making her truly deserving of the once-in-a-century Junior League of Santa Barbara Legacy Award.”
