2018 proved to be another watershed year for the singer as he extends his influence across music, television, and Broadway yet again. Early in the year, he co-hosted the the 72nd Annual Tony® Awards alongside Sara Bareilles at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The broadcast this year drew 6.3 million viewers on CBS, an increase of 4 percent from the 6 million who watched last year. Groban released his critically acclaimed 8th studio album, Bridges, on September 21st and co-starred on the new NETFLIX original series, The Good Cop, alongside Tony Danza, which began streaming on the same day Bridges was released.
