GET TO KNOW THE AQUATICS PROJECT MAKING WAVES IN THE
SANTA YNEZ VALLEY!
Thank you for your interest in the SYV Community Aquatics Complex — we’re excited to have you with us!
The Santa Ynez Valley Community Aquatics Foundation is leading the effort to build a new, year-round, two-pool facility on the Santa Ynez Valley High School campus. Designed to serve the entire Valley, it will offer swim lessons, school athletics, fitness and therapy programs, and recreational swimming for all ages.
We’re partnering with the SYV Union High School District, the cities of Buellton and Solvang, and Santa Ynez Valley Youth Recreation and the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians to bring this $13.7 million project to life through a mix of public and private funding.
The need is urgent: the current high school pool is outdated, too small for CIF competitions, and closed to the public. A new complex will support student athletes and expand affordable access for families, seniors, and individuals across the Valley.
Together, we can create a sustainable, inclusive space that promotes health, safety, and community for generations to come. |
