Habitat for Humanity Hosts ReStore Annual Anniversary Sale

August 10, 2019 @ 11:00 am PDT

Habitat for Humanity of Southern Santa Barbara County (Habitat Santa Barbara) is hosting the ReStore Annual Anniversary Sale with 50 percent off already reduced prices, for six hours only, on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at its retail store located at 6860 Cortona Drive, Suite A, Goleta, CA. Entrance to the store as well as parking is located at the rear of the building. To qualify for the discount, all purchased items must leave the store the same day.

Habitat Santa Barbara operates a ReStore, the nonprofit home improvement store that sells new and gently used building materials, appliances, furniture, home décor, and more. All inventory is donated and sold at a fraction of the retail price. All proceeds from the ReStore benefit Habitat Santa Barbara, an organization committed to supporting individuals and families build or improve a place to call home. ReStore prices will be lowered even further on August 10th as the entire store will be an additional 50% off, with the exception of paint.

“Shopping at the ReStore is a great way to support Habitat’s mission, improve your home, and re-cycle by donating items that could otherwise be going into a landfill. Shopping at our annual sale is a good deal for shoppers, and a chance to make a difference in the community,” said Jessica Wishan, CEO, Habitat Santa Barbara.

The ReStore is open to the public Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To check out a sample of inventory items, visit the online Diggers List at diggerslist.com/sbhabitat. For those interested in supporting Habitat Santa Barbara in other ways, the ReStore is always in need of donations and volunteers to support its operations. Volunteer opportunities are available 5 days a week for both individuals and groups. Please see the volunteer page at sbhabitat.org/volunteer to find how to get involved.
