Groovin in the Grove Classic Car & Vintage Travel Trailer Show

The Santa Barbara Elks Lodge #613 will hold their annual “Groovin in the Grove Classic Car & Vintage Travel Trailer Show” on July 27, 2019, at 150 North Kellogg Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA. The free event is one of the Elks major fundraisers for local veterans and is open to the public between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
We anticipate over 120 classic cars, 20 vintage travel trailers and 15 motorcycles enthusiasts to exhibit their treasured vehicles from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be numerous categories entered and each vehicle will be judged, with an opportunity at taking home the Best of Show grand prize of $500. This year over $2450 will be awarded in cash prizes, in lieu of trophies. World War II military vehicles will be on display, including ambulances, troop transport vehicles and a Vietnam era Huey Helicopter.
One of Santa Barbara’s treasured local bands, “Ernie and the Emperors” will entertain the crowd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, featuring their 1965 hit record Meet Me At The Corner and other classic rock and roll music. Local Pin-Up Girls will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win great auction items donated by generous merchants and friends of the Elks. As always, our BBQ Tri-Tip lunch, along with a no-host bar and desserts will be offered for a nominal fee.
