Flamenco dancer, choreographer Linda Vega celebrates 30 years as a teacher in Santa Barbara with a new original show, AYER, HOY Y MAÑANA (“Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”) on July 15th at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara. The fiery performance will feature an all-star cast of sensational guest artists including Maria “La Chacha” Bermudez, from Jerez de la Frontera, along with Timo Nuñez, Manuel Gutierrez, Jose Cortés, Andrés Vadín, Gabriel Osuna and Gerardo Morales and dancers from her professional company FLAMENCO! Santa Barbara. This exciting evening of Flamenco dance, song and music is not to be missed!
One of the most recognized Flamenco artists in the world; Linda Vega has performed on stages all over the world including Carnegie Hall in New York, La Scala in Milan, and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, to name a few. In Santa Barbara, she has contributed to to the traditions of Old Spanish Days, with the hundreds of dancers who perform every year, along with the thirty-five Spirits and Junior Spirits who have gracefully represented our beautiful city.
