Exploring Climate Change & Culture Shift with Professor Ken Hiltner

September 12, 2019 @ 5:30 am PDT

As climate warnings blare across the globe, why do humans continue the destructive behaviors that are causing the climate crisis? Why do we seem to be unable to pull together as a species and tackle this existential threat head-on? If we did, where would we start?

Join dynamic UC Santa Barbara Professor Ken Hiltner for a lively discussion as we try to unpack and understand the biggest problem and the obvious solution to the climate crisis -humans.

Registration is $10/person and includes reception after Professor Hiltner’s talk. Local vegetarian food from Buena Onda & beverages provided. Remember to bring your reusable cup, straw and utensils!
