Enjoy a Holiday Wine Event at The Cave in Ventura
Get ready for the holidays with an afternoon of tastes and treats.
Start the celebrations early with a Holiday Wine Tasting event on Sunday, November 12, from 2-4pm, at The Cave in Ventura. This festive, fun afternoon gives guests the opportunity to stroll around and sample more than 100 wines from over 20 premier wineries. Attendees will also enjoy live music from the Vanise Terry Band, chatting with winemakers and industry greats, a photo booth, and decadent bites from The Cave’s award-winning Executive Chef, Alex Montoya.
Wineries attending include Clos des Amis, Rombauer Vineyards, Hall, and The Ojai Vineyard, as well as many others. They will be pouring a varied selection of their offerings, ranging from palate-pleasers suitable for serving on any occasion to more exclusive tastings of special reserves.
Showcasing his culinary excellence, Chef Alex has created a small bites menu designed to pair with the tastings ranging from passed appetizers to samplings of his delightful pizzas and pastas.
Guests will receive a keepsake wine glass for the tastings, and enjoy access to special offers from The Cave, including a “Buy More, Get More” promotion that rewards purchases at the event with credit toward wining and dining at The Cave restaurant, and custom-created Cave Boxes, The Cave’s new wine-delivery club.
The Holiday Tasting Event is open to guests ages 21 and up. Tickets are now on sale for $45 through November 11, and also be bought at the door on the day of the event for $50. Advance purchase is recommended to secure tickets before the event sells out. Tickets can be purchased in person at The Cave, or by calling 805-642-9449. Due to the nature of this wine-oriented walk-around event and space, infants and attendees younger than 21 will not be permitted.
