Dive Into Fun at SBMM’s Kelp Forest Trivia Night

The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum (SBMM) invites ocean lovers and trivia buffs to join us for Kelp Forest Trivia Night on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Night Lizard Brewing Company, located at 607 State Street in downtown Santa Barbara. $1 from every pint sold will be donated to SBMM.

Celebrate the magic and mystery of the Santa Barbara Channel Islands’ underwater forests while putting your marine knowledge to the test! This lively, ocean-themed trivia night will spotlight the incredible biodiversity, science, and conservation efforts surrounding local kelp forest ecosystems—one of the most vibrant and productive habitats on Earth.

Teams and individuals are welcome to compete for prizes, bragging rights, and the chance to connect with fellow ocean advocates in a fun, relaxed setting. Whether you’re a seasoned scuba diver, marine biologist, or casual coastline explorer, this event offers a perfect blend of education and entertainment.
