Dingle Sister City St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Meeting

You don’t have to be Irish to become a member of the Santa Barbara/Dingle Sister City group. Nestled in the Southwest corner of Ireland on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry where the landscape of rolling emerald hills blend into the bay at the Wild Atlantic Way resembles the geography of our town. Fun is our most important product but we also promote the interests of our members in the development of economic, cultural and educational relationships between Santa Barbara and Dingle.
Join us for this St. Patrick’s Day celebration and general membership meeting to discover all the new possibilities for members of our Sister City Chapter. Meet like-minded individuals. Event goes from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Great Entertainment lined up from the energetic and upbeat Cėilí Rua troupe – a few members will be coming up for our meeting from Ventura to present a variety of styles of traditional Irish dances to delight us and get everyone in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day. www.gaelicla.com It’s their only Santa Barbara appearance.
Come to Pilgrim Terrace Dining Hall at 649 Pilgrim Terrace Drive, Santa Barbara, 93101. Free parking. (But follow notices of where the parking spaces are reserved for residents please). Experience the delicious meal prepared by Chef Pete Clements: Passed appetizers will transition into dinner of, what else – a traditional Irish meal Corn Beef & Cabbage with carrots, red potatoes and a gorgeous fresh green salad; plus, carrot cake for dessert. All veggies are freshly picked from the Pilgrim Terrace gardens that day. Coffee, tea or lemonade included too. Donations for beer and/or wine or BYO.

Dinner: $30 members; $40 non-members
Memberships are $25 single or $40 couple. Payment due at the door. Cash, check or credit card.
Raffle prizes: $2 per ticket or 3 for $5 will be pulled at the end of the meeting.
