Different Realms… el arte perdura

The student dance company provides extensive performing opportunities for outstanding senior-year dance majors selected by dance faculty. This year, the company will play an integral role in Border Crossings: Exile and American Modern Dance 1900-1955, a bi-coastal exhibition, symposium, and performance series (featured in DANCE MAGAZINE OCTOBER 2023). The exhibition is currently on display at the New York Public Library at Lincoln Center and will open at UCSB’s Art, Design & Architecture Museum from January 25 through May 15, 2024. During this time, UCSB Dance Company will hold performances, including in the museum’s main gallery. We look forward to taking the dance performance on tour in Spring 2024.
