Diabetes Basics

Dates: 4-week program that will meet on April 1, 8, 15, and 22
Time: 3:30 – 5:30PM
Location: Sutter Health Pesetas Care Center, 215 Pesetas Lane, Santa Barbara, 3rd floor conference room (“Library”)

Join us for a 4-week program led by certified diabetes care and education specialists. They will offer practical strategies to help anyone with diabetes or prediabetes live a healthier, more balanced life. It is recommended for newly diagnosed individuals and anyone who would like a review and update on diabetes management.

This class covers:

• How you can manage your blood sugar
• Why checking blood sugar can improve your health
• About nutrition and yes! — You can eat fun foods
• Why physical activity is important
• About stress, sleep and your blood sugar

Free of charge and open to the community. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
