Davis Center presents Alzheimer’s Association Workshop Series on Memory

Are you concerned about your memory? The Louise Lowry Davis Center presents a series of three FREE workshops on Memory by the Alzheimer’s Association. On Thursdays, August 15th, 22nd and 29th the Davis Center will hold workshops open to the public on three topics: August 15th: Healthy Habits for A Healthy You – A one hour workshop for individuals of any age who are looking for information on ways to age as well as possible. Lifestyle habits we can adopt to help maintain or even potentially improve our health. Presented by Barbara Davies. August 22nd: Know the 10 Signs – If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection of Alzheimer’s disease gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. Presented by Suzette Cobb. August 29th: The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s – A workshop for ANYONE who would like to know more about Alzhemier’s disease and related dementias. Presented by Jackie Marstins.
