Celebrate Freedom: Understanding and Eliminating Human Trafficking

Featuring inspirational speaker Somaly Mam, a Cambodian anti-trafficking advocate who focuses primarily on sex trafficking. Her experience and her own story as a survivor of sex trafficking has saved more than 7,000 girls around the world. Annalynne McCord is an American actress and former model. She has joined together1heart as the president and spokesperson. With her own personal tragedy now advocates to empower survivors and those vulnerable to human trafficking. The goal is to educate key members of the Santa Barbara community and inspire them to join in the fight against human trafficking, locally and globally, as well as participating in the rescue, nurturing and empowering of victims. We will have music, food and beverage, speeches and video presentation.
