Buckles ‘n’ Brews Invitational Beer Festival Benefitting the Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara
Join us for the second annual Buckles ‘n’ Brews Invitational on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 from 12 – 5:30 p.m. at the Santa Barbara Carriage Museum (129 Castillo Street, Santa Barbara). We have invited some of the best local and in state breweries to join us for a day of celebrating craft beer in a unique setting!
Love craft beer and country music? We have you covered! Great country music by The Dusty Jugz, lawn games, great BBQ and quality vendors! This year we will utilize the inside and outside of the event to make sure you get to enjoy all that the Santa Barbara Carriage Museum has to offer!
Buckles ‘n’ Brews Invitational is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara. The club was founded in 1922 and for the past 65 years have hosted the Fiesta Pancake Breakfast and unfortunately last years Fiesta’s was the last one. “In recent years, the Kiwanis Club has determined the increasing amount of money required for park fees and permits has diminished the proceeds to the point the breakfast is no longer economically viable,” said Peter Giorgi, member of the Kiwanis Club.
Buckles ‘n’ Brews Invitational will replace the Fiesta Pancake Breakfast as their primary fundraiser and they hope the community can come out and support them at the Santa Barbara Carriage Museum on Saturday, October 28th.
25 breweries were selected pour their best beers, including some rare and specialty brews. Every guest will get a souvenir tulip glass, and get to sample from any of the brews on site. We have added some really great breweries and already have a solid lineup! Brewlab, Captain Fatty’s Brewery, Central Coast Brewing, Enegren Brewing Company, Figueroa Mountain Brewing, Firestone Walker Brewing Co., Green Flash Brewing Co., Institution Ale Co., Island Brewing Company, Ladyface Alehouse & Brasserie, Lagunitas Brewing Co, M.Special Brewing Company, Poseidon Brewing Company, Pure Order Brewing Co., Rincon Brewery-Carpinteria, The Brewhouse Santa Barbara, Third Window Brewing Co., Telegraph Brewing Company, Topa Topa Brewing Company, and Wolf Creek Brewery have already accepted our invitation!
Transportation options include shuttles from Jump on the Brew Bus from Goleta (M Special), Santa Barbara (Sears Parking lot) and Carpinteria (Island Brewing Co.) for just $10. Amtrak is also a great option, with the event location just down the road.
There will be a new VIP Session this year, with an hour early entry at 12 p.m.! VIP guests will get to sample beers not available during the General Admission Session (begins at 1 p.m.).
