Bark Week at SB Humane Society
Ahoy! Spin the wheel during Bark Week for savings on adoptions at Santa Barbara Humane Society. The Shark Week themed discounts will take a bite out of adoption fees for both dogs and cats.
In honor of Shark Week, the Santa Barbara Humane Society is celebrating Bark Week by letting chance decide adoption prices July 24th – July 29th. The spinning wheel will alert captains of the price of their new first mates.
As a resource for the community, Santa Barbara Humane Society welcomes the chance to make adoptions more affordable. Our dogs and cats are ready to chart a course outside of our gates. During Bark Week, adoption prices range from $10 off to free. The adoption fee for dogs is usually $80 and for cats is usually $60. These prices include spay/neuter surgery, a health examination, vaccinations, a microchip with registration, a temperament evaluation, de-wormer, a background/personality profile, a starter packet of food, and a pet care booklet.
With such great savings on first mates to crew their galleons, if captains have a few spare gold pieces in their coffers the Santa Barbara Humane Society greatly appreciates donations.
The Santa Barbara Humane Society is dedicated to the welfare of animals and strives to provide a safe haven for homeless dogs and cats until we are able to find forever homes for them. Since 1887, the Santa Barbara Humane Society has provided service to the people and animal populations of Santa Barbara County, and is proud to be one of the three oldest agencies in California dedicated to animal welfare. The Santa Barbara Humane Society occupies a five-acre site on Overpass Road, serving the community with a shelter, animal adoption services, a spay and neuter clinic, humane education center, boarding kennels, large animal holding center and corral, and inspection and rescue services.
