WHAT…
•VNA Health invites the community to the 20th Anniversary Celebration of its Mother’s Day Luncheon. Join Andrew Firestone and Catherine Remak to celebrate 40 remarkable women and one amazing couple who helped to shape the legacy of our community’s character, health, and ability to live well.

WHY…
•More than 112 years ago, a visiting nurse, Marian Watts, and a group of “public spirited and far-sighted” women founded VNA Health. These women cared for the health and well-being of our Santa Barbara communities; and they are the mothers of our community’s “at-home” health care system.
•As a healthcare organization, VNA Health is committed to providing care through adversity and crises. VNA Health has cared for our community during the Spanish Flu and COVID19 Pandemics, the Great Depression and Recession, World War I and II, and through multiple fires, floods, and earthquakes.
•As a nonprofit organization, VNA Health are able to sustain its legacy of care because of the generations of giving hearts. The annual Mother’s Day Luncheon is a beloved tradition and fundraiser for the organization.
•This year the goal is to raise $450,000 to continue its charitable services that include the Loan Closet, Serenity House Charity Care, Telehealth Care, Palliative Care, Music Therapy, Pet Therapy and We Honor Veterans Program. Year over year, VNA Health provides these charitable community programs, which are solely funded by community philanthropic support.
