2nd Annual Santa Barbara Hospitality Games

SECOND ANNUAL SANTA BARBARA HOSPITALITY SUMMER GAMES RETURN MAY 28
Will the plates stay on the servers’ trays in the Santa Barbara Hospitality Summer Games obstacle course? Which team of pastry chefs will win the cake war? Which maintenance department will tighten the screws on the competition in the bicycle building event? And who will impress the celebrity judges in the Hospitality Talent Show to close out the day’s festivities?
Judges are Santa Barbara City Councilman Jason Dominguez, Teresa Kuskey Nowak of La Boheme Dance Group and Barbara Carroll, 2019 Old Spanish Days President. Visit Santa Barbara, the marketing arm of the South Coast hospitality industry, Santa Barbara Sailing Center and eleven local hotels will do battle in the Second Annual Santa Barbara Hospitality Summer Games May 28, 2019 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
This year’s host is Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, where the events will take place on the resort’s front lawn and grand rotunda.
The event promotes camaraderie within the hospitality industry while helping the community. A raffle will be held, featuring hotel stays, restaurant certificates, sunset sails and more. All raffle proceeds benefit the Santa Barbara City College Hospitality and Culinary Program. In addition, the assembled bicycles will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Barbara.
