Get up close and personal with all kinds of trucks – big rigs, fire trucks, construction vehicles, and more! Bring the whole family for a hands-on experience like no other. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable event!

This is a free event but we asks all community members to “buy” tickets so we can estimate crowds.

Exhibitors in 2024 – MOXI Museum, Santa Barbara Zoo, Hitchcock & Associates, SB Children’s Dentistry, Laguna Blanca School, Riviera Ridge, South Coast Montessori, Montessori Center School, and more…

Raffle Prizes – The Dance Network, Lobster Joe’s, Westside Dance Studio, Lil Toot, SB Historical Museum, MoxI Museum, and more…

In 2023, we estimate that Touch-a-Truck welcomed over 4,500 people, over 60 vehicles, 5 food and beverage vendors, and a boatload of bubbles from the Bubble Guy! The funds raised through our sponsorships and donations enable us to continue to provide our services to the tri-county community:

  • New Parent Groups – Groups are free-of-charge and cover topics such as breastfeeding issues, sleep challenges, emotional highs and lows, and changing relationships. In 2023, we welcomed over 300 parents and their babies and in 2024, we are bringing groups back in person at our new space (Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara)
  • Warmline – our free warmline where parents can call and receive confidential one-on-one support from trained volunteers, parents just like you.
  • Baby Basics – teach the highlights of what you can expect after your baby is born. Each class is designed to inform soon-to-be parents about the many choices available for baby care.
